Job DetailsKey responsibilities
- Performing electrical acceptance and maintenance testing.
- Inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting power systems, including switchgear, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Collecting data from electrical equipment.
- Ensuring equipment and systems are safe and reliable according to NETA standards.
- Conducting start-up procedures for new electrical equipment.
Required skills and qualifications
- NETA level 2 or 3 certification
- A strong understanding of electrical theory, testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, insulation resistance testers), and electrical safety procedures
- Familiarity with NETA, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards is often required.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills are essential.
