Design Project Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Come and join the Kforce Family! We are looking for a motivated and accomplished Design Project Coordinator to join our infrastructure team in Palo Alto, CA.

Overview:

Our program schedules push the limits of what is physically possible. This requires you to be extremely detail oriented, identify real hard barriers and drive the cross-functional teams to execute quickly at high quality. You will drive collaboration between Engineering disciplines, Construction, Manufacturing and Production to ensure our team's goals are aligned with company priorities. You will work to understand the opportunities and challenges of each project, organize scattered information into a concise and complete message, document and communicate to every team member.

Duties:
* Project Start-Up/Initiation including contracts, RFPs, work authorizations, creation and/or maintenance of project directories, cloud-based file sharing sites, opening project and sub-project numbers; Maintenance of logs (project IDs, scope, schedule, responsible parties), meeting coordination. Preparation of meeting agendas/notes
* Design Documentation/Construction Administration Phases tasks include file sharing, contract and invoice management, design review documentation, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, issue resolution logs, design QA/QC initiation, RFI/Submittal logs, and managing deliverables and providing weekly updates; Weekley reports for important communications for tasks to EPC teams
* Coordination with AHJ's including permit submissions, project reviews, processing fees; Familiar with permitting process, tracking and updating permit folders, tracking permit budget etc.
* Project Close-Out tasks include as-built documentation archiving including plan, equipment schedule, and single line consolidation

REQUIREMENTS:
* Associates or Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM); Or other related field
* 2-5+ years of experience in a supportive capacity preferably with an engineering, architecture or construction firm
* Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
* Superior verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency
* Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Bluebeam (or related)
* Demonstrated ability to work with minimal guidance; proactive, motivated self-starter
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Aconex, PlanGrid, and/or Procore preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
