Contract Position

Job Summary:
Client is looking for a highly experienced Twilio Voice Platform Architect to lead the design and migration of enterprise healthcare telephony systems to cloud-native Twilio + .NET solutions. This role involves defining architecture, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring reliable, scalable communication systems for mission-critical healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design end-to-end Twilio Voice architecture (Studio, TwiML, Webhooks)
Define best practices like “Thin Studio, Smart API” pattern
Lead telephony migration from legacy systems (Genesys, Cisco, Avaya)
Architect scalable IVR systems with DTMF/ASR flows and call routing
Ensure high availability, carrier redundancy, and webhook reliability
Mentor engineers and review Twilio implementations
Collaborate with clients on architecture decisions and technical strategy

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Twilio (Voice, Studio, TwiML, TaskRouter)
Expertise in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and API development
Experience with Redis, AWS (S3, CloudFront), and SIP protocols
Hands-on experience in large-scale IVR systems (500+ concurrent calls)
Knowledge of DTMF/ASR fallback strategies and webhook design
Experience with telephony migration from legacy platforms
Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare communication systems

Preferred Skills:

Twilio Flex, Notify, Voice Intelligence
Genesys PureConnect experience
Call flow testing frameworks and automation
Number porting and Event Streams

Domain Experience:

Healthcare / Clinical communication systems
Mission-critical, 24/7 telephony environments
