This high-impact mandate offers an experienced engineering leader full operational and technical ownership over the lifecycle of custom, high-voltage infrastructure and specialized protective architectures powering global, mission-critical operations.

Stepping into this critical role, you will drive technical vision, transform complex structural challenges into standardized high-performance solutions, and scale a high-growth team at a company actively redefining modern power infrastructure delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Directorate Leadership: Lead architectural design and mechanical development for custom industrial power distribution modules, heavily reinforced skid systems, environmental cabinets, and intricate electro-mechanical assemblies.

  • Standardize Practices: Systematize engineering protocols, governing rigorous quality assurance parameters and internal design benchmarks to elevate baseline team execution.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner seamlessly with senior project management, electrical architecture divisions, corporate sales executive teams, and manufacturing floor leads to guarantee timely project deployment.

  • Technical Mentorship: Cultivate engineering talent by guiding junior design professionals, leading structural design audits, and delivering technical mentorship.

  • Optimize Manufacturability: Identify operational efficiencies to bolster mechanical design standardization, reduce product development lifecycles, and streamline manufacturing handoffs.

  • Systems Integration: Architect heavy-gauge generator enclosures and complex integrated power delivery systems, ensuring flawless structural integrity and thermal management performance.

  • Environmental Synthesizing: Specify high-grade materials and structural components tailored to withstand severe environmental, geographic, and physical stressors.

  • Regulatory Governance: Author comprehensive engineering data packages, including complex structural drawings, multi-tier bills of materials (BOMs), and safety documentation adhering to UL and global compliance mandates.

  • Strategic Consulting: Serve as the definitive technical liaison for executive client stakeholders throughout the complete product lifecycle.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • 5 to 8+ Years of deep domain expertise in heavy industrial mechanical design, with a dedicated focus on mission-critical structural systems.

  • Specialized Infrastructure Mastery: Proven success engineering custom heavy-duty generator enclosures, integrated fuel systems, or specialized modular electrical housings (E-Houses).

  • Industrial Compliance Depth: Working familiarity with high-voltage equipment placement, specialized commercial/industrial construction parameters, and strict UL listing compliance protocols.

  • Professional Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) credential is highly preferred.

  • Advanced Technical Tooling: Proficient utilization of advanced 3D spatial design suites, specifically Revit, AutoCAD 3D, and related structural analysis software.

  • Retirement Matching: Robust 401(k) plan featuring corporate matching contributions to secure long-term financial health.

  • Life Insurance: Fully funded life and disability insurance policies.

  • Relocation Assistance: Comprehensive relocation support packages provided for qualified non-local professionals nationwide.
