Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with experience in the financial services domain, preferably in Auto Finance. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and delivering data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories.
• Work on end-to-end lifecycle of projects including requirement gathering, UAT support, and implementation.
• Analyze existing auto finance processes such as loan origination, underwriting, servicing, collections, and refinancing.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Support data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation for business decision-making.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams including product, IT, operations, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements within financial services.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and backlog grooming.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial products, especially auto loans, leasing, and credit risk assessment.
• Experience with requirement gathering techniques (BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Auto Finance or lending platforms.
• Knowledge of loan management systems (LMS) or loan origination systems (LOS).
• Familiarity with credit bureaus, underwriting rules engines, and risk modeling.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or Agile-related certifications are a plus.
