Senior Solutions Architect (Govt. Taxation)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in supporting mission-critical government taxation systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep background in designing, developing, and maintaining high-volume tax return processing systems, with a specific focus on IBM middleware, metadata-driven architectures, and modern containerized environments.

This role requires a unique blend of legacy system expertise (Mainframe/COBOL) and modern integration strategies (SOA/OpenShift) to ensure the seamless evolution of tax administration technology.

Required Skills & Experience

< data-path-to-node="7">Core Domain & Taxation Expertise

• 84+ Months of experience within a Government Taxation Organization. This must include end-to-end business knowledge of tax return processing, technical design, and production support.

• 84+ Months designing and developing Forms Definition Facility (FDF) tools and data models to manage centralized metadata for Business Rules, Form Schemas, and Presentation layers.

• 84+ Months in the design and management of Business Rules Architecture. This includes building Rules Entry UI systems and portable Runtime Engines deployable in WPS (WebSphere Process Server) and WAS (WebSphere Application Server).

• 84+ Months of experience with interpretation-driven infix/postfix notation-based IBM COBOL Rules Engines running on IBM OS.

• 36+ Months developing rules-based, event-triggered applications on IBM ODM, preferably utilizing Automated Decision Services (ADS) and interacting with IBM SPSS Modeler/Collaboration services.

• 84+ Months integrating metadata features using Internet framework connectivity with IBM Lotus templates for dynamic data capture.

• 84+ Months designing and implementing enterprise-level SOA platforms encompassing WPS, WAS, and Mainframe environments.

• 60+ Months of hands-on development using IBM EAD4J, JADE, and Spring frameworks.

• 12+ Months of recent experience in an OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environment, specifically focusing on the migration, integration, and design of artifacts within a containerized architecture.
