Database Management Analyst III (IDE Manager / CAM) - Key Personnel
Role Summary

The Database Management Analyst III (IDE Manager / CAM) is a senior-level technical leader responsible for overseeing database management operations, integrated development environments, and configuration and asset management processes supporting mission-critical Department of Defense systems. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across database platforms, software development environments, and secure lifecycle processes that enable reliable, compliant, and high-performance system operations.

As a Key Personnel position, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the stability, security, and operational effectiveness of enterprise systems supporting software development, training platforms, and maintenance support solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep engineering or IT experience, proven leadership capability, and a strong background operating in secure government or defense environments.
Core Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain enterprise database systems to ensure operational reliability, performance, availability, and security
  • Oversee Integrated Development Environment (IDE) operations and Configuration and Asset Management (CAM) processes
  • Lead and coordinate technical teams supporting software development and computer-based training systems
  • Support the development, sustainment, and integration of Integrated Training and Maintenance Support Suite (ITMSS) software
  • Ensure database and software lifecycle activities comply with organizational security policies, best practices, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize database solutions
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot critical issues, and implement optimization strategies
  • Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and execution
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
  • Support integration of database systems with enterprise applications and training platforms
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and analysts
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
    • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 18 years of professional experience related to this labor category may be accepted
  • More than 15 years of professional experience in engineering or information technology
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise database systems and software development environments
  • Experience leading technical teams supporting software development and computer-based training systems
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one
Required Certifications
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • More than 20 years of professional experience in engineering or IT
  • Experience supporting Integrated Training and Maintenance Support Suite (ITMSS) software development
  • Strong background in secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
  • Prior experience working in government or defense-related environments
