Summary

Job Role: Senior MDM Architect
Location: Remote with Travel 
Hire Type: W2- Contract
 
 
We are looking for a Senior MDM Architect for a short-term consulting engagement. The ideal candidate should have strong enterprise-level MDM architecture experience across multiple MDM technologies. The client currently uses IBM MDM, and the primary focus will be assessing the existing implementation, architecture, integrations, and overall MDM landscape and recommending improvements.
Key Requirements:
  • Strong experience designing and assessing enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) architectures.
  • Experience implementing MDM solutions across multiple platforms/tools; should not be limited to a single MDM product.
  • Ability to assess an existing IBM MDM implementation, architecture, configuration, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of MDM concepts including mastering, matching/merging, survivorship, hierarchy management, data quality, and governance.
  • Experience evaluating upstream/downstream integrations, APIs, batch interfaces, data flows, and dependencies around an MDM platform.
  • Ability to identify architectural gaps, scalability/performance concerns, integration challenges, and opportunities for modernization.
  • Provide architecture recommendations, best practices, and a practical roadmap based on assessment findings.
Strong communication and consulting skills with the ability to engage with client architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders
