About the Role
Our firm is partnering with a large, well-established organization within the consumer goods industry to find an IT Service Desk Analyst to support employees at their corporate headquarters. This role is part of a global shared services environment that delivers business-critical technology and employee support across the enterprise.

The IT Service Desk Analyst will provide primarily in-person Level 1 IT support in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, playing a key role in ensuring a seamless technology experience for employees. This position is ideal for a service-oriented IT professional who thrives on problem-solving and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Job Description
As an IT Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting end users with hardware, software, and audiovisual technology while maintaining a strong focus on service excellence. You will collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to resolve incidents efficiently and continuously improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-person technical support to employees at corporate office locations, including troubleshooting laptops, hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Support and maintain audiovisual (AV) equipment in conference rooms
  • Assess, research, and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner
  • Deliver a high level of customer service with a customer-first mindset
  • Monitor, manage, and escalate issues involving external service providers as needed
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
  • Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service documentation to reflect current practices
  • Meet key performance metrics related to service quality, response time, and customer satisfaction
  • Work cross-functionally to reduce technical disruptions and improve the overall employee experience

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience providing technology or IT support
  • Foundational knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Windows (Windows 11)
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • VPN connectivity
    • Networking basics
    • Hardware, peripherals, and devices
    • Cybersecurity best practices
    • Computer Hardware Support
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven customer service orientation with a service-driven mindset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence process improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • IT certifications or formal IT training/accreditations
  • ServiceNow experience
