job summary:
This contractor will be responsible for maintaining or editing the ProjectPlace application configuration, supporting end users, and supporting the project team as they onboard PMOs to ProjectPlace. They will work with several Project Management Offices (PMOs), the vendor, and project team members to support and configure Planview ProjectPlace, a Project Management Solution. You'll provide system design recommendations, migration support, and onboarding support. and approaches along with administrating and configuring the application. Collaboration with the ERPMO, IT Platforms, Business PMOs on processes, standards, and global configurations will be essential.

responsibilities:
Leads and/or attends meetings with IT and/or other Business areas to gain a thorough understanding of application requirements as new PMOs onboard to ProjectPlace.
- Defines and documents the requirements, and evaluates comprehensiveness, testability and usability of the requirements within the application.
- Works with vendors to make necessary changes to applications.
- Works with vendors to enter support tickets when we are unable to solve support requests in-house.
- Provides reporting and analysis to track support needs for ProjectPlace
- Provides support and maintenance on assigned applications
- Creates complex artifacts (e.g., documentation, data flow diagrams, context diagrams) that are used in the design, development, and implementation of new systems and system enhancements.
- Reviews and determines system capacity, data archiving and retention needs.
- Maintain existing Job Aids as Planview ProjectPlace enhancements are made to maintain consistency with the application behavior.
- Support Production Readiness ticketing system
- Independently diagnose, solve, and communicate ticket solutions to users.
- Add/edit/delete users in ProjectPlace
- Attend monthly webinars to ensure knowledge of upcoming system enhancements
qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or higher in an IT or Business related discipline (such as MIS, Business Management) and a minimum of six years of related work experience in technical tool administration that involves creating, testing, configuring, updating, manipulating, and/or scripting technical tools or applications.
- In lieu of the above combination of education and experience, a minimum of eight years of related work experience in technical tool administration experience creating, testing, configuring, updating, manipulating, and/or scripting technical tools or applications.
