We are seeking an experienced and outstanding US IT Recruiter for one of our esteemed clients.
A US IT Technical Recruiter manages the full recruitment lifecycle for technology roles, sourcing and hiring candidates (W2, 1099, C2C) for US-based clients. Key responsibilities include identifying tech talent via LinkedIn/job boards, conducting technical screenings, understanding US visa types (H1B, GC), managing client interviews, and handling salary negotiations, often working in US night shifts.
Core Roles and Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Utilize LinkedIn, Dice, and GitHub to find, engage, and attract top IT talent for vacant roles.
- Full Life Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from requirement gathering to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for both hiring managers and candidates.
- Technical Screening and Assessment: Review resumes, parse specialized IT skills, and conduct initial phone screens or technical assessments to evaluate candidate competency against the job description.
- US Tax & Visa Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of US work permits (H1B, , ) and tax terms, including W2, 1099, and Corp-to-Corp (C2C) agreements.
- Interview Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate interviews between candidates and technical hiring managers across different US time zones.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate salary rates, benefits, and contract terms, ensuring successful closure of job offers.
- Relationship Management: Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates and foster relationships with IT professionals, even when active hiring is not needed. [, , , , , , , , , ]
- Technical Understanding: Familiarity with IT terminology (Java, Python, AWS, etc.).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
- Time Zone Flexibility: Ability to work US night shifts (often needed for India-based recruiters supporting US clients)
