Job Title: Offering Leader – Warehouse Automation (VP / Senior VP Level)

Location: Remote (Travel Required)

Position Summary

We are seeking a VP/Senior VP-level Offering Leader to drive warehouse automation and distribution transformation initiatives. This executive will own end-to-end warehouse operating models, define automation strategies, develop business cases, and lead client pursuits. The ideal candidate will have deep experience implementing large-scale automation solutions and prior work with leading automation providers such as , , , and .

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end warehouse operating models including inbound, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
Define automation strategies using AS/RS, goods-to-person, AMRs/AGVs, sortation, and shuttle systems.
Develop reference architectures and playbooks for greenfield and brownfield facilities.
Lead throughput modeling, labor planning, slotting, and wave strategy design.
Partner with industrial engineering teams to design layouts and simulate operational performance.
Build ROI, TCO, and payback business cases for automation investments.
Guide clients through RFP processes and hardware/vendor selection.
Develop industry-specific solution blueprints for Retail, CPG, 3PL, Life Sciences, and Industrial sectors.
Co-lead sales pursuits and present to C-suite and operations executives.
Build strategic partnerships with OEMs and ISVs.
Mentor solution architects and consulting teams.

Qualifications

15–20+ years of experience in warehouse operations design, automation, and supply chain transformation.
Proven large-scale automation implementation experience.
Prior work with companies such as Symbotic, Dematic, Honeywell, or Vanderlande is strongly preferred.
Deep expertise in facility layout, process engineering, and capacity modeling.
Strong knowledge of WMS, WES, and WCS concepts.
Executive-level communication, storytelling, and deal-shaping skills.
Extensive industry network across operators, 3PLs, automation vendors, and advisors.
