Shift: C (Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Job Description

We are seeking a Technician - Integration Engineering I to support production operations and contribute to safe and efficient human spaceflight. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and hands-on experience working with aerospace hardware and precision tools.

You will help transition hardware and processes from development to production, support payload/system preparation, and ensure high-quality execution across all assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and configure new production work areas with required tools and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Operate material-handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, lifts) and precision tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
  • Identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement initiatives for safety and operational efficiency.
  • Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and production readiness during transition from development to full-rate manufacturing.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces following 5S and safety standards.
  • Assist with preparation, coating, sealing, repairs, testing, and assembly of aerospace payload systems and hardware.
  • Apply Thermal Protection Systems (TPS) to flight hardware, including surface prep, adhesive application, gap filling, fixturing, and vacuum bagging.
  • Follow detailed procedures, engineering drawings, and specifications during fabrication and installation tasks.
  • Perform second-party verifications and inspection activities on hardware and documentation.


Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, aircraft depot maintenance, or related fields.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency using precision measurement tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, optical measurement tools).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces when required.
  • Experience with adhesives, sealants, thermal blankets, and related aerospace materials.
  • Proficiency with digital tools including Windows and Microsoft Office.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
  • Aerospace technician certification or equivalent
  • Trade school training, formal industry certifications, or relevant degree
  • Experience with cryogenic systems, fluid systems, and aerospace/launch vehicle assembly
  • Knowledge of precision assembly processes and handling large aerospace structures
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Experience with payloads, fairings, capsules, or related systems
  • ATF certification for explosives handling/installation
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
