Systems Engineer

Overview

Our client is seeking to add two Systems Engineers to their growing IT team. These roles offer a unique opportunity to join an evolving organization that is investing in more specialized infrastructure and security talent.
They are ideally looking for:

• One engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 technologies
• One well-rounded "generalist" Systems Engineer with broad infrastructure experience

About the Team

The client has traditionally operated with a lean engineering team made up of versatile, "jack-of-all-trades" professionals. As the organization continues to scale, they are building out more specialized expertise across Infrastructure and Security to support long-term growth and modernization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows-based systems and environments
• Manage and maintain virtualization infrastructure (VMware)
• Support Active Directory, Windows Server, and enterprise systems
• Collaborate across IT teams to ensure system performance, availability, and security
• (M365-focused role) Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services and tools

Core Requirements

• Strong experience with:
  • Windows Server environments
  • VMware virtualization
  • Active Directory administration
  • System administration best practices
  • Microsoft Office / M365 tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:
  • SolarWinds (asset management/monitoring)
  • Pure Storage (SAN environments)
  • F5 load balancers

Additional Details

• Location: Preference for on-site candidates in Kenosha, WI
• Flexibility: Open to hybrid or remote for highly qualified candidates
• Employment Type: Contract-to-hire or direct placement options available
• Experience Level: Mid-level (hands-on contributors with solid foundational expertise)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
