Job Description:
• Position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience
• Quality Engineer role is to plan, lead, and support product and production quality activities within the Engineering functions through developing, implementing, maintaining & improving quality assurance activities throughout the project & production life cycle, including:
• Developing, improving, and implementing quality design tools & methods and assure that they are used Devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
• Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment. Conducting quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis to assess the level of control and manage product / production quality risks.
• Undertaking root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action. Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
• On Professional level applies practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience). May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision.
• Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
