Overview:We are hiring experienced Structured Cabling Technicians for long-term, ongoing work across healthcare facilities in the Houston area. This is a
night-shift role focused on high-quality rack work, wire management, terminations, and equipment setup. Technicians must be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in an active healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:- Perform Cat5e/Cat6 terminations, patch panel work, and fiber terminations (if applicable)
- Dress, label, and organize cables neatly within racks, closets, and enclosures
- Install and configure network racks, patch panels, cable management, and related hardware
- Complete testing and certification of cabling infrastructure
- Ensure clean, professional buildouts aligned with healthcare facility standards
- Follow all safety, security, and infection-control procedures
- Document work performed and communicate status updates to project leads
Qualifications:- 2+ years of experience in structured cabling with strong skills in terminations and rack/wire management
- Proven ability to build clean, organized IDF/MDF environments
- Experience working independently on overnight projects
- Familiarity with healthcare environments is a plus
- Ability to read prints and follow scopes of work
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or lifts
- Reliable transportation to job sites

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
