1. **Salesforce Deployment and Release Management**
Manage end-to-end Salesforce deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments. Ensure releases are executed smoothly with proper validation, approvals, rollback planning, and post-deployment verification.

2. **Opsera or Copado DevOps Expertise**
Configure and manage Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using Opsera or Copado, including automated deployments, validation, code promotion, and release orchestration. Monitor pipeline execution, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve deployment efficiency.

3. **Salesforce Development Knowledge**
Possess a strong understanding of Salesforce development tools and technologies, including Salesforce CLI, Visual Studio Code, Git, scratch orgs, sandboxes, and metadata APIs. Support developers in resolving environment, source-control, and deployment-related issues.

4. **Apex, Triggers, and Test Automation**
Develop, review, and troubleshoot Apex classes, batch jobs, scheduled jobs, and triggers while following Salesforce coding best practices. Maintain required test coverage and ensure automated test classes are reliable, scalable, and suitable for production deployments.

5. **Salesforce Configuration and Metadata Management**
Understand and manage Salesforce configuration components such as custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, flows, validation rules, and approval processes. Ensure configuration changes are properly tracked, documented, and promoted between environments.

6. **Security and Access Management**
Configure and support Salesforce security components, including roles, profiles, permission sets, permission set groups, sharing rules, organization-wide defaults, and public groups. Conduct access reviews and ensure security configurations follow least-privilege and compliance principles.

7. **Lightning and User Interface Components**
Work with Salesforce standard components, Lightning Web Components, Aura components, Lightning pages, and page layouts. Troubleshoot UI-related issues and collaborate with development teams to deliver responsive and user-friendly Salesforce experiences.

8. **Source Control and Branching Strategy**
Maintain Salesforce metadata in Git-based source-control systems and support effective branching, merging, and pull-request processes. Resolve merge conflicts, enforce code-review standards, and ensure complete traceability of changes from development through production.

9. **Issue Resolution and Platform Operations**
Investigate and resolve deployment failures, Apex exceptions, integration errors, automation issues, governor-limit violations, and production incidents. Support day-to-day Salesforce operational activities, including environment monitoring, sandbox refreshes, user support, and scheduled-job management.

10. **Governance, Documentation, and Continuous Improvement**
Establish Salesforce DevOps standards, deployment checklists, release calendars, technical documentation, and operational runbooks. Collaborate with developers, administrators, QA, security, and business teams to improve platform stability, release quality, automation, and operational maturity.

11. **AI, Agentic AI, and Operational Automation**
Good-to-have knowledge of AI technologies, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, and an understanding of their application within Salesforce operations. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, build intelligent workflows, improve issue resolution, and reduce operational overhead.
