What will your day look like? As a Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, and deploy secure, scalable, and high-performance AI-enabled applications.
• Establish and promote software engineering best practices, including architecture patterns, coding standards, scalability strategies, and secure development principles.
• Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure application quality, maintainability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with AI Engineers to identify and implement the most effective architecture and integration patterns for AI solutions.
• Develop APIs, application services, data integrations, and reusable components to support enterprise AI initiatives.
• Create and maintain project foundations, including repositories, development environments, shared services, and deployment pipelines.
• Integrate AI applications with enterprise platforms and systems to support secure and reliable production deployments.
• Partner with DevOps and platform teams to implement scalable infrastructure, automated deployments, and operational best practices.
• Drive CI/CD processes, testing strategies, release management, and production readiness efforts.
• Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining engineering quality and governance standards.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection across multiple projects and initiatives.

You will be a good fit for the Software Engineer role if you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade software applications in production environments
• Proven success introducing software engineering best practices to development teams, including architecture standards, design patterns, scalability approaches, and secure coding practices
• Experience building and supporting AI-powered applications in collaboration with AI Engineers or data science teams
• Working knowledge of AI application patterns such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agent-based workflows, model integrations, and AI observability frameworks
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including cloud infrastructure, platform services, networking, identity management, and security
• Hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation
• Experience developing cloud-native applications and services using modern frameworks and technologies
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, FastAPI, containers, Kubernetes, and related application development and deployment technologies
• Experience working with databases and data platforms such as Neo4j, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and similar technologies
• Solid understanding of relational, NoSQL, graph, vector, and event-driven architecture patterns and their appropriate use cases
• Proficiency with GitHub workflows, branching strategies, pull request processes, and source control best practices
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools, including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar technologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience moving AI solutions from proof of concept through MVP and into full-scale production environments
• Knowledge of AI governance, monitoring, evaluation frameworks, and operational best practices
• Experience working within large enterprise organizations and complex technology ecosystems

• Background in mentoring development teams and driving engineering excellence initiatives
• Familiarity with enterprise integration strategies and distributed system architectures
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent initiatives while balancing delivery timelines and technical quality standards
