SQL is important ? candidate needs to personally query/investigate data.
Uses data to help answer product questions, investigate issues, and validate delivered outcomes.
Needs enough technical aptitude to understand systems/data and communicate effectively with engineers.
Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery would be beneficial but is not required.
Python and Alteryx are nice-to-haves
PBM/healthcare experience is preferred, especially experience working in complex regulated environments.

Position Overview
The Product Analyst will support a Product Team by helping translate business needs into well-defined product requirements, refining user stories, analyzing data, and validating delivered solutions.
This role sits at the intersection of product, business, technology, and data. The ideal candidate has experience working within Agile/Scrum product teams and is comfortable partnering with Product Owners, engineers, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
This individual should be able to understand what the business is trying to accomplish, help break that work into actionable stories and requirements, use SQL and other data tools to investigate questions, and validate that completed solutions are producing the intended results.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Product Owners, engineers, QA, Scrum team members, and business stakeholders to support product initiatives from discovery through delivery.
Support user story creation, refinement, acceptance criteria, and backlog readiness.
Help translate business needs and product objectives into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including refinement, planning, reviews, and other team sessions.
Use SQL to query, investigate, and analyze data in support of product questions, requirements, troubleshooting, and validation.
Validate delivered functionality and outcomes against defined business requirements, expected system behavior, and success measures.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, dependencies, and opportunities that inform product decisions.
Collaborate with technical teams to understand system behavior, data flows, dependencies, and potential impacts of product changes.
Assist with product discovery and solution analysis by helping evaluate current-state processes and potential solution approaches.
Facilitate conversations across business and technology stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve questions or gaps.
Support documentation of product requirements, processes, system behavior, and decisions.
Help ensure solutions align with organizational security, compliance, and regulatory expectations.
Required Qualifications
Experience working as a Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role within a technology/product environment.
Strong experience with user stories, story refinement, acceptance criteria, and requirements analysis.
Experience working on an Agile/Scrum product team.
Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to query and investigate data independently.
Ability to understand technical concepts, system behavior, and data relationships without needing to be a software engineer.
Experience validating delivered solutions against requirements and expected outcomes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
PBM, healthcare, health insurance, or other regulated-industry experience.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or BigQuery.
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, healthcare exchanges, HIPAA, PHI, or related healthcare regulatory requirements.
Experience working with complex enterprise applications and highly interdependent technology teams.
Exposure to Python, Alteryx, or similar analytical tools is beneficial but not required.
