Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a strong foundation in PeopleSoft and Oracle DB, combined with growing or established strengths in infrastructure and DevOps practices. This role is evolving beyond traditional administration into a platform-focused position with responsibilities spanning performance optimization, deployment, and cross-team enablement.
Responsibilities: - Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Infrastructure Engineering.
- Review and analyze multi-faceted, larger-scale Infrastructure Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
- Analyze system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Support deployment activities and transition to release code deployment ownership.
- Work with platform support teams to improve team capability and share knowledge.
Qualifications: - 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience.
- Strong expertise in PeopleSoft administration, including PeopleTools Product Upgrades, patches, and tools like App Designer, Change Assistant, and Data Mover.
- Working knowledge of Oracle DB setup supporting PeopleSoft, with a focus on performance improvements and reporting optimization.
- Experience in Linux environments, including shell scripting.
- Understanding of load balancing concepts, datacenter resiliency, and business continuity planning.
- Experience with certificates/SSL handling and renewal.
- Proficiency in modern tooling and automation, including Git/GitHub, Jenkins, uDeploy, and Liquibase.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira and ServiceNow.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Pay Range: $60/hr-$70/hr on W2
