Summary

Overview:
We are seeking a customer-focused Help Desk Support Specialist to provide front-line technical support and troubleshooting for end users. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and experience supporting users in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide phone-based technical support to end users, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring problems
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and processes within the ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and follow-up

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of phone-based technical support experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook, with strong overall Microsoft Office skills
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in a help desk or IT support environment
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and service management processes

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
