Job Type: Contract (1+ year, extension possible)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing applications using SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-driven apps)
- Power Automate (workflow automation)
- Power BI (data visualization and dashboards)
- Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Nintex or similar).
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.
Preferred qualifications:- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development using React and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with SharePoint components such as lists, libraries, permissions, and UI customization.
- Experience with workflow migration and modernization projects.
- Knowledge of data structures, databases, and reporting tools.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience working in enterprise or program management environments.
About the job:As an Applications Developer II, you will design, build, and maintain business applications that improve operational efficiency and decision-making. You will leverage modern tools such as SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions aligned with business needs.
This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, rapid iteration based on feedback, and the ability to support applications across development, deployment, and post-production phases.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop applications using SharePoint Online and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Build and enhance Power Apps and automate workflows to streamline business processes.
- Rebuild and modernize legacy workflows (e.g., Nintex) into scalable solutions.
- Configure and maintain SharePoint features, including lists, libraries, permissions, and UI elements.
- Develop SPFx-based components using React and TypeScript when required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support application deployment, migration, and stabilization activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability.
- Create documentation and provide knowledge transfer to end users.
- Contribute to a collaborative and productive team environment.
Work environment:- Hybrid role with regular onsite presence (3+ days per week).
- Office-based setting with collaboration across teams and functions.
- Occasional local travel may be required.
