About the Job
The Electrical Engineer will support full lifecycle system development activities including technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability analysis. This role spans all phases of the system-from concept and design through fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
You will ensure the logical and systematic translation of customer requirements into complete system solutions while balancing technical feasibility, schedule constraints, and cost considerations. The position involves functional analysis, requirement allocation, interface definition, and trade studies to develop accurate hardware and software specifications.
This role is ideal for early-career engineers with foundational analog circuit design knowledge and strong technical documentation interpretation skills.
Responsibilities
Perform system-level technical planning and integration activities.
Conduct verification and validation processes across hardware and software systems.
Support cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness assessments.
Translate customer requirements into system architectures and detailed engineering specifications.
Analyze engineering documentation including ICDs, schematics, CAD models, and assembly drawings.
Conduct functional analysis, timeline evaluations, and trade studies.
Participate in requirements development, allocation, and traceability.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams throughout design and development phases.
Travel as needed to support operations across U.S. locations (AL, CO, CA, PA...).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
1+ years of Analog circuit design experience (internship experience acceptable).
Ability to interpret engineering documents such as ICDs, schematics, CAD models, and drawings.
Experience in systems engineering-requirements development & verification.
Proficiency with Microsoft Visio.
Willingness to travel across multiple U.S. states (e.g., AL, CO, CA, PA).
