Purpose:
The ServiceNow Architect will architect / develop, implement, integrate, manage, and administer ServiceNow solutions for large enterprise customers. The role focuses on evolving ServiceNow implementations from ITSM into other modules such as ITAM and ITOM, while supporting backend customer catalog development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and configure multiple ServiceNow applications and modules, focusing on ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, HAM, SAM, ITBM, Compliance, Vulnerability Response, and Integrated Risk.
- Develop and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications.
- Implement core configuration user stories with guidance, covering service catalog, catalog items/record producers, knowledge bases, notifications, assignment rules, and SLA configurations/workflows.
- Develop reports and dashboards to support enterprise needs.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure user stories meet acceptance criteria.
- Review peer developers' work and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow implementations and integrations.
- Keep all ServiceNow certifications current with platform releases.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and customer objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow solution architecture or development.
- Minimum of 5 years working with common web technologies and networking (XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP).
- Expert knowledge of ServiceNow platform and ITSM, ITOM, ITAM modules.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration technologies including SSL, REST Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, SOAP, SCP, FTPS, JSON.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP clearance eligibility or active SAP clearance.
- Experience with backend customer catalog development.
