Job Title: Senior SAP Cost Management / Project Systems SME
Location: Bellevue, WA
Duration: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Senior SAP Cost Management / Project Systems SME responsible for supporting global Omega 365 rollouts, Hypercare, and production stabilization, while driving issue resolution across SAP PS, P2P, D365, and integrated enterprise platforms.
Lead cost management, data integration, and operational support activities, ensuring seamless business processes, data quality, and stakeholder enablement across large-scale ERP transformation programs.
Role Descriptions: Key Responsibilities
Rollout & Hypercare Support
Participate actively from UAT through Hypercare and stabilization phases.
Serve as a dedicated SME supporting business users during rollout waves.
Provide rapid triage| root cause analysis| and issue resolution for critical production incidents.
Support deployment readiness| cutover activities| and post-go-live stabilization.
SAP & Cost Management Expertise
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP Project Systems (PS)| cost planning| budgeting| forecasting| and project accounting.
Support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process integration across source applications and ERP systems.
Ensure accurate flow of cost management data between Omega 365 and SAP environments.
Validate project structures| WBS elements| settlements| commitments| and cost allocations.
Integration & Data Management
Analyze issues across Omega 365| Compass| Data Lake| middleware| SAP| and D365 systems.
Investigate integration failures| data inconsistencies| synchronization issues| and process exceptions.
Support data migration activities| reconciliation processes| and data quality initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Incident Management & Operational Excellence
Lead incident triage and severity assessment activities.
Coordinate with product| engineering| infrastructure| and support teams for resolution tracking.
Document workaround solutions| known issues| and operational runbooks.
Identify recurring issues and recommend systemic improvements.
Training & Business Enablement
Support training-related issues during rollout phases.
Act as a functional advisor to business stakeholders and deployment teams.
Develop deep knowledge of business processes| system capabilities| and regional rollout requirements.
Contribute to knowledge transfer and readiness activities for future support teams.
Required Qualifications
8-10+ years of SAP implementation and support experience.
Strong expertise in SAP Project Systems (PS).
Experience supporting enterprise Cost Management solutions.
Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) environments.
Proven experience with large-scale ERP and business transformation programs.
Hands-on experience in data migration| validation| and reconciliation activities.
Strong understanding of system integrations| APIs| middleware| and enterprise architecture.
Experience supporting UAT| deployment| Hypercare| and production support activities.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Omega 365 Cost Management implementations.
Knowledge of Compass| Azure Data Lake| and cloud-based integration architectures.
Experience working within global rollout programs spanning multiple regions.
PMP| SAP| or related certifications.
