We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mastercam Programmer to join our fast-paced and innovative team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines using Mastercam software. You will have the chance to work on an array of exciting projects and be part of a team that is committed to delivering high-quality products to our clients. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of machining principles and a passion for problem-solving.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement CNC programs using Mastercam software for various types of machinery.
2. Create and design fixtures for the machining process.
3. Collaborate with the engineering team to understand project requirements and specifications.
4. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment.
6. Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
7. Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
8. Perform routine machine maintenance.
9. Test and modify programs to increase efficiency and reduce machining time.
10. Provide technical support to the machinists and other staff as needed.

Qualifications:
1. 5+ years of experience as a Mastercam Programmer or in a similar role.
2. Proficient in Mastercam programming and fixture design.
3. Extensive knowledge of machining principles, including plastics machining.
4. Proven experience as a CNC machinist.
5. Strong understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
6. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
10. High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in a relevant field is a plus.
11. Previous experience in the plastics industry is highly desirable.
