About the Role Client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist with 15+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, and AI-driven business solutions. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end data science initiatives, drive strategic decision-making through advanced analytics, and partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the design, development, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning and predictive analytics solutions.
- Translate complex business problems into scalable data science solutions.
- Build and optimize statistical, machine learning, and deep learning models for business applications.
- Develop forecasting, recommendation, classification, segmentation, and optimization models.
- Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, and engineering teams to identify data-driven opportunities.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analytics professionals.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive innovation by evaluating emerging AI/ML technologies and industry best practices.
- Ensure model governance, explainability, scalability, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to build robust data pipelines and production-grade solutions.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, experimentation, and hypothesis testing.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience deploying and monitoring ML models in production environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience leading large-scale analytics or AI transformation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications - PhD in a quantitative discipline.
- Experience in Retail, CPG, Supply Chain, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Technology domains.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, Agentic AI, and MLOps frameworks.
- Knowledge of Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, and modern data platforms.
- Experience leading globally distributed teams.
