Role Overview

We are seeking a senior-level Appian professional to design, develop, and architect enterprise-grade BPM solutions using the Appian platform. This role involves leading application development initiatives, architecting integrations, mentoring developers, and collaborating closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performing workflow solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Appian experience, integration expertise, and the ability to lead distributed engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement Appian and web-based applications
  • Architect and build critical Appian BPM solutions and integration components (including Java-based integrations)
  • Develop complex SAIL interfaces, Sites, and Process Models
  • Lead and provide technical guidance to mid-level developers
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable Appian solutions
  • Integrate Appian with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other web services
  • Debug and resolve issues in interfaces, process models, and integrations
  • Estimate, scope, and size Appian projects and business requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Appian Analyst and Appian Designer Level certifications (required)
  • 10+ years of overall experience with strong Appian development expertise
  • Experience leading distributed engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, and web service integration principles
  • Experience building multiple integrations with external systems
  • Knowledge of at least one major programming language (Java preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
