Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with 8+ years of relevant experience to lead the delivery of complex business solutions using AI/ML and modern technologies.
This is a highly customer-focused engineering role that combines software engineering, data engineering, architecture, and business consulting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with operational stakeholders, understanding complex and ambiguous business problems, and translating them into scalable, production-ready technical solutions.
You will take ownership of technical delivery, make architectural decisions, work closely with customers and executives, and help guide both internal and customer-facing engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI/ML solutions
- Work directly with customers and operational stakeholders to understand business challenges
- Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
- Drive architecture and technical design decisions
- Design solutions even when requirements are incomplete or evolving
- Ensure solutions are production-ready, maintainable, and portable
- Influence technical and business discussions with executives and engineering teams
- Mentor and guide internal and customer teams
- Challenge assumptions and provide strong technical judgment
- Collaborate across software engineering, data engineering, architecture, and business teams
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong software engineering and system architecture experience
- Experience working with AI/ML or modern technology solutions
- Strong ability to solve complex and ambiguous business problems
- Experience translating customer/business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong architectural and technical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to influence and lead discussions without direct authority
- Experience working with senior executives and technical leadership
- Strong customer-facing and consulting mindset
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
