As an SDET, you'll design and implement automated testing solutions, strengthen engineering workflows, and help drive a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about building robust automation that scales.
Responsibilities- Design and implement automated test frameworks, tools, and systems to close test coverage gaps.
- Manage contingent or contract engineers to ensure consistent output and high-quality deliverables.
- Partner closely with infrastructure and product engineering teams to fully enable automated testing across environments.
- Independently drive project goals, including tracking progress, reporting status, escalating risks, and removing blockers.
- Champion quality standards by quickly surfacing issues uncovered through automation and advocating for strong testing practices.
- Develop high-quality automated tests to validate release readiness and overall product quality.
Minimum Qualifications- 2+ years of experience developing or analyzing automated test frameworks and supporting infrastructure.
- 2+ years of hands-on coding experience in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++, or a comparable programming language, including code maintenance and review.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field - or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications- 2+ years of experience building automation strategies and estimating test effort.
- 2+ years of experience planning, tracking, and managing test environments and test data.
- Experience developing automation and frameworks capable of simulating complex, multi-system scenarios.
- Familiarity with a wide range of testing types, including Unit, Functional, Load, Security, Behavioral, Integration, Component, Contract, and End-to-End testing.
