We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects, ranging from residential to commercial and infrastructure projects. You will be an integral part of the pre-construction process, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates that help drive the success of our projects. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in construction estimating and cost management. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements.
2. Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
3. Use software for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
4. Participate in the preparation and submission of project bids, including gathering and analyzing data.
5. Conduct risk assessment and suggest mitigating measures.
6. Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors on project cost estimates.
7. Review and evaluate cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
8. Present estimates and conduct cost-benefit analyses to the stakeholders.
9. Maintain a current database of construction costs, trends, and price fluctuations.
10. Track and monitor project budgets and costs, updating estimates as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating or a similar role.
3. Proficiency in Project Bidding, Construction Estimating, Cost Management, and Cost Analysis.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Experience with on-screen takeoff and construction management software.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
7. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret construction plans and contracts.
8. Strong communication and presentation skills.
9. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
12. Knowledge of construction scheduling and the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential delays.
13. Experience in risk assessment and the ability to propose effective solutions.
14. Strong budgeting skills with the ability to manage resources effectively.
