Technical Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tempe, AZ that is seeking a strong Technical Business Analyst to serve as a key interface between internal engineering teams, external agencies, and client stakeholders. This role is highly technical and focused on API specifications, data integrations, and system-to-system alignment, rather than traditional functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary technical liaison between company and external agencies/partners
* Translate business needs into clear technical specifications-especially around APIs, data contracts, and integration patterns
* Define and document how systems must change vs. how partner systems must change to enable seamless integration
* Collaborate closely with engineers, solution architects, data teams, and third-party vendors
* Review, validate, and refine API designs, payloads, mappings, and data flows
* Identify integration risks, gaps, and dependencies early and drive resolution
* Support rapid, iterative projects with shifting priorities and short timelines

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on complex integrations
* Strong understanding of APIs (REST), data models, schemas, and enterprise integrations
* Ability to read, interpret, and discuss technical designs with engineering teams
* Experience working directly with external vendors or agencies in a technical context
* Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
* Excellent communication skills-able to -speak engineering- and business fluently

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
