- Can safely and efficiently install cordage type cabling in an active data center
- Can pull and dress cabling- Copper & Fiber both indoor and OSP
- Possesses confined space certification and experience
- Can terminate jacks and panels
- Has proven skill in Referencing and testing on both the Fluke and Viavi tester platforms
- Can breakout, prep, splice both indoor / outdoor Single strand and Ribbon fiber (12 – 3456 stand cables)
- Has proficient experience in Active Data Center Operations
- Has practical Telecom cabling experience in the Data Center construction environment
- Has practical Telecom cabling experience in the Active Data Center environment
- Has cable plant trouble shooting skills
- Demonstrates ability to understand and exceed customer expectations
- Can safely work at heights via a ladder, scaffold, man-lift
- Minimum requirements:
- Has solid work ethics
- Has State of Wyoming Low-voltage License - Preferable
- Has Cheyenne Municipal Low-voltage License - Preferable
- Can pass an 11-panel drug screen and background check- no felonies
- Can demonstrate experienced track record of detailed proficiency in Safety adherence and compliance
- Can show up to work, "on time” "WITH” tools and PPE, prepared for days activities
- Has OSHA 10 (mandatory) or 30 (will work and comply with the OSHA-10 requirement)
- Has competent person training and certification for working at heights
- Has a safety centric focus on all aspect of work delivery
- Has experience in hazard identification and experience in planning of mitigation techniques
- Can safely lift 40-50 pounds utilizing proper lifting techniques without injury to self
- Coachable- Takes direction well
- Active listener- can put into action the coaching that is provided
- Open to "constructive” criticism
- Punctual and reliable
- Has reliable vehicle
- Has Driver''s License in good standing
- Has current automobile insurance
- Must own low voltage tools, snips, cable strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches, punch tool etc.
- Takes direction well
- Works well with others
- Coaches and Mentors- lesser skilled technicians
- Vaccinated a plus
