Summary

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails as a backend engineer.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
Support Prior Authorization (PA) automation initiatives and related workflows.
Integrate thirdparty APIs and services as required.
Perform API remediation to ensure compliance, security, and optimal performance.
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
Write clean, maintainable, and welldocumented code.
Participate actively in the code review process and ensure adherence to best practices.
Work on large enterprise applications with complex business workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails and backend development
Basic architecture experience, including:
Understanding of system design and backend architecture
Ability to contribute to API and service-level architectural decisions
Experience with scalable and distributed systems
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker
