Job Description: Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving deployment processes, maintaining reliable infrastructure, and supporting scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Work with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
  • Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor application performance, system availability, and infrastructure health.
  • Troubleshoot deployment failures, infrastructure issues, and production incidents.
  • Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance standards.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Maintain technical documentation and continuously improve DevOps processes.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
  • Experience with Git and version control systems.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Understanding of networking, cloud security, and system troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices and cloud-native applications.
  • Knowledge of Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
