Summary

Title: Newgen API Configuration Engineer

Location: Eagan, MN /Remote

Duration: 12 Months contract

We are seeking a Newgen API Configuration Engineer with strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting Newgen solutions within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, enhance, and support Newgen APIs and integration components based on business and technical requirements.
  • Perform hands-on Newgen platform configuration, including workflows, interfaces, rules, and system integrations.
  • Configure and troubleshoot REST/SOAP APIs and integrations between Newgen and enterprise applications.
  • Partner with business analysts, developers, architects, and application teams to translate requirements into technical configurations.
  • Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues and provide production support as needed.
  • Perform testing, validation, documentation, and deployment of configuration changes.
  • Follow healthcare data security, privacy, change-management, and application-support standards.
  • Configure and support Newgen APIs, workflows, and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot API, configuration, and system integration issues.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to implement requirements.
  • Perform testing, documentation, and deployment of configuration changes.
  • Support production issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Newgen API configuration.
  • Strong experience configuring Newgen platforms/applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with APIs, web services, system integrations, and application configuration.
  • Prior healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and system integrations.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.

Estimated Allocations:

  • 80% NewGen Configurations and API Support
  • 20% New Integration Development. Currently using: Node.js, Python, AWS Glue, PySpark, Spark SQL
