Newgen API Configuration Engineer

We are seeking a Newgen API Configuration Engineer with strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting Newgen solutions within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, and support Newgen APIs and integration components based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform hands-on Newgen platform configuration, including workflows, interfaces, rules, and system integrations.
• Configure and troubleshoot REST/SOAP APIs and integrations between Newgen and enterprise applications.
• Partner with business analysts, developers, architects, and application teams to translate requirements into technical configurations.
• Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues and provide production support as needed.
• Perform testing, validation, documentation, and deployment of configuration changes.
• Follow healthcare data security, privacy, change-management, and application-support standards.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Newgen API configuration.
• Strong experience configuring Newgen platforms/applications in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with APIs, web services, system integrations, and application configuration.
• Prior healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be local to the client location and able to meet any onsite/hybrid requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.

• Prior healthcare or health insurance experience.
• Experience supporting payer, claims, enrollment, eligibility, or related healthcare systems.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and cross-functional project teams.
