Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC, and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. As a senior member of the technical team, this role is responsible for the development, enhancement, testing, and support of software applications. The position involves providing strategic technical direction, system architecture for initiatives, and collaborating with business leaders and external programming teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
Responsibilities: - Develop, enhance, test, support, maintain and debug software applications that support business units or support functions
- Provide strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations
- Lead or have responsibility for estimation of effort for software applications
- Coordinate collaboration with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget
- Provide feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives
Requirements: - 8+ years of software development experience
- Expertise in Enterprise Java with Spring and Hibernate
- Strong knowledge of Core Java
- In-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements
- Clearly recognized as a content expert by peers
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
