Join a leadership team driving a digital transformation project for a leading enterprise software provider in the energy sector. This is a critical Director of Engineering role. You will have a direct, high-impact role in defining the engineering culture, technology adoption (cloud/DevOps), and delivery excellence for a highly tenured, focused organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and hands-on technical leadership across the full-stack (front-end, middle-tier, and back-end) to ensure architectural consistency, performance, and maintainability.
- Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, cloud-native architecture (Azure/AWS), and DevOps principles across all development teams.
- Mentor and develop engineering managers and senior technical staff, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, including 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading full-stack engineering teams in a commercial SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Deep technical expertise in modern software architectures and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS), with a focus on scalable service-oriented systems.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead technical change within cross-functional organizations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field.
