Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, evaluating, and auditing project management processes and templates for the Project Management Office (PMO).
• Compiling metrics relating to IT project success, project attributes, and individual productivity and adherence to defined processes.
• Tracking costs and performance, service levels, and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
• Serving as a resource to project managers and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvements/changes.
• Providing administrative support to project managers and project leaders.
• Ensuring project control systems are in place and integrate project data for decision makers.
• Administering and maintaining project management software and tools.
• Organizing and publishing project-related documentation in various sources.
• Knowledge of project management tools, methods, and best practices, such as those defined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields; or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of IT experience, including managing teams, customer service, and production project management in multi-platform environments.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred, but not required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience working under the general direction of mid-level to senior-level management.
• A minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience.
