Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Lead Project Manager on behalf of our client in Cleveland, OH / Albany, NY / Buffalo, NY (Hybrid).
This role is responsible for leading large, complex, cross-functional projects within the Core Deposits domain. The ideal candidate will manage the full project lifecycle-from initiation through implementation-while collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage mid-to-large scale, high-impact projects across multiple business units

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure

  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines

  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including dependencies and critical paths

  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure effective communication and reporting

  • Drive risk identification, impact analysis, and mitigation strategies

  • Lead organizational change management efforts, including communication and training plans

  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation

  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party resources, ensuring alignment and performance

  • Ensure adherence to project governance, standards, and quality expectations

  • Conduct lessons learned sessions to support continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, leading complex initiatives

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability in risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making

  • Understanding of core banking systems and deposit products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent

  • Experience in Core Deposits platforms (e.g., Hogan)

  • Exposure to organizational change management practices
