Solumina Test Engineer – MES/SAP Integration
Location: Remote | Type: Contract | Duration: 6–12 months
We''re looking for a Test Engineer with direct, hands-on Solumina (iBASEt) experience to validate our MES environment and its integration with SAP ERP. This is not a generalist QA role — candidates must have real Solumina testing experience, not just broad MES exposure.
What You''ll Do
- Design and execute test plans/scripts for Solumina modules (work order execution, routing, non-conformance, genealogy/traceability)
- Validate Solumina configuration changes and custom workflows across releases
- Test end-to-end data flows between Solumina and SAP (IDocs, BAPIs, middleware) — work order sync, material transactions, inspection results
- Manage defects in Jira/Azure DevOps with clear reproduction steps
- Perform regression testing after patches/upgrades; identify automation candidates
- Collaborate with Solumina configurators and SAP integration teams
Required
- 3–5 years software testing/QA experience
- Direct hands-on Solumina testing experience (required)
- Experience validating Solumina-to-SAP integrations (IDocs, BAPIs, or middleware)
- Strong SQL skills for backend data validation

- Solumina configuration/administration experience
- Familiarity with SAP PP, QM, or MM modules
- Test automation exposure in a manufacturing/shop-floor setting
