We have an urgent need for a Project Manager / Business Analyst specializing in Data & Master Data Management (MDM), based in Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA, working in a hybrid model. This role is ideal for professionals who can bridge business and technology while driving high-impact data initiatives in a collaborative environment.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end delivery of MDM programs, taking ownership of planning, execution, and risk management while ensuring alignment with business strategy. You will perform gap analysis between current and future data states, assess impacts, and translate insights into actionable requirements. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement across global teams, facilitating discussions and driving consensus. You will work hands-on with data to analyze structures, identify gaps, and define integration, transformation, and migration strategies. Additionally, you will oversee data quality initiatives, testing, validation, and user acceptance processes to ensure accuracy and business alignment. Regular communication through status reporting, executive summaries, and risk updates will be a key part of this role.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management combined with hands-on data analysis, with deep expertise in Master Data Management and data governance frameworks. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project is essential. Strong SQL and Python skills, along with experience working on large datasets and platforms like Hadoop, Spark, or Snowflake, are required. Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or Business Objects, along with knowledge of data architecture, lineage, and quality frameworks, is highly valuable. Experience with governance tools like Collibra or Data Hub, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, will ensure success in this role.
