UX Engineer / Design Engineer (Frontend + AI)

Role Overview

We are seeking a UX Engineer (Design Engineer) who combines strong UX design expertise with front-end development skills.

This hybrid role requires someone who can design intuitive user experiences and also translate them into working front-end code, leveraging AI tools to accelerate development.

The ideal candidate is a full-stack designer who can move from design → prototype → code, working closely with product and engineering teams.

 Primary Responsibilities:

UX / Product Design (~60%)

• Own end-to-end UX workflows: research, user flows, wireframes, interaction design, and high-fidelity visual design.
• Conduct user research (interviews, usability tests, contextual inquiry) with internal stakeholders to inform design decisions.
• Design complex and multi-step workflows.
• Create and maintain a consistent design language across the portal and CRM, ensuring visual polish, information density appropriate for users, and accessibility compliance.
• Design for edge cases, error states, empty states, loading states, and offline/degraded scenarios.
• Present design decisions clearly to the pod and stakeholders, articulating rationale grounded in user needs and business outcomes.

 Frontend Engineering (~40%)

• Prototype designs in React/TypeScript to validate interactions, test with users, and accelerate development handoff.
• Ship production frontend code in partnership with the pod’s engineers — components, pages, animations, and interaction logic.
• Own the fidelity of what gets merged: review pull requests for visual accuracy, interaction quality, and design intent.
• Contribute to and extend the frontend component library, ensuring design tokens, spacing, typography, and motion are implemented consistently.
• Collaborate daily with engineers on technical feasibility, component architecture, and frontend performance.
