Description
We are looking for a skilled IT/SDLC Business Analyst to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the Property & Casualty insurance industry and thrive in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:
Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and align them with technical solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, product managers, and client stakeholders, to gather and refine requirements.
Translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office and Azure DevOps to track and manage projects effectively.
Conduct gap analyses to ensure alignment between current systems and desired outcomes.
Provide support for occasional after-hours releases or client-specific needs.
Ensure high-quality deliverables by applying strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Assist in development testing and quality assurance processes to validate system functionality.
Stay informed about cloud-based SaaS platforms and hybrid architectures to better support client needs.
Foster strong communication and collaboration to resolve misunderstandings and drive project success.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Azure DevOps, with a strong technical aptitude.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear understanding across teams.
Ability to grasp end-to-end system workflows and translate them into structured user stories.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex challenges.
3-5 years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile SDLC environments.
Prior experience in customer service, quality assurance, or underwriting within the P& C insurance sector is a plus.
Self-motivated and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
