Systems Analyst (Advanced) – Procurement Applications

Position Overview

Client is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support Procurement Office initiatives involving business process improvement, application enhancements, reporting solutions, data analysis, and technology modernization efforts. The selected consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to develop, maintain, and enhance procurement- related applications and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

 Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.

 Develop functional specifications, process flows, and solution designs.

 Support implementation of new procurement systems and business processes.

 Analyze and troubleshoot application issues and recommend solutions.

 Perform data analysis and develop reports, dashboards, and reporting solutions.

 Support application enhancements, technology refresh initiatives, and post-production

activities.

 Coordinate with business users, project teams, and IT stakeholders.

 Participate in system testing, quality assurance, and validation activities.

 Prepare project documentation and status reports.

 Provide end-user support and training as needed.

Required Skills

 Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information

Technology, or related field.

 Minimum 3 years of Systems Analysis and/or Application Development experience.

 Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

 Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.

 Experience supporting enterprise applications and reporting solutions.

 Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

 Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate

 Power BI Data Analyst Associate

 CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent Business Analysis certification
