FL Business Analyst II

Location: Tallahassee, Florida (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $45-55 / hr

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a key Technology Transformation initiative. This role focuses on delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Management solutions and supporting strategic IT projects. The position requires an on-site presence, with hybrid work considered periodically.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and solution validation sessions.
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining traceability in Azure DevOps.
  • Create process models using UML, BPMN, and process flow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, including creation, coordination, and execution.
  • Work within Agile frameworks (Scrum and Feature Driven Design) to deliver iterative solutions.
  • Provide guidance on business analysis best practices and process improvements.


Required Qualifications

Experience: Candidates must have over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on IT or technology projects. This includes experience analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements.

Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Management solutions is required. Proficiency is also needed in requirements gathering, creating user stories and acceptance criteria, using Azure DevOps or GitHub for backlog management, and UAT development and execution within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with business process modeling and continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading or working with cross-functional teams on large-scale initiatives.
  • Data analysis experience and familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with cloud computing and enterprise architecture.
  • Experience in government or public sector environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSM, PMP, CBAP, or PMI-PBA.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check.
  • Must sign confidentiality and data use agreements.
  • Must complete required ethics and security training.
  • Must obtain CJIS Certification.
  • Candidates must provide three government references for similar work performed within the last three years.
