Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Long Island City, NY.
Summary:
We're seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable cloud-based applications and automated deployment solutions. This role combines hands-on software development, cloud engineering, and DevOps practices to deliver reliable, high-performing technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* DevOps Engineer will develop and maintain full-stack applications, APIs, and integrations
* Build and support cloud-native solutions in modern cloud environments
* Design and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
* Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerized applications
* As a DevOps Engineer, you will troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience in Full Stack Development, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or related fields
* Experience with Python, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern development frameworks
* Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Experience with Terraform, microservices, event-driven architectures, or SRE practices
* Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and cloud technologies
* Exposure to AI/ML technologies and cloud automation tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
