Apptio Developer

Introduction:

Join our dynamic team to build and implement the enterprise Demand Management intake and routing capability within the Apptio platform. As an Apptio Developer, you will be focused on configuration, data architecture, and scalable reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a hands-on Apptio technical resource to develop solution components in TBM Studio / Apptio architecture.
• Design and implement the end-to-end intake workflow framework within Apptio, including request capture, routing, validations, approvals, and lifecycle management.
• Build and maintain Apptio data tables and transformation pipelines to support demand intake and workflow data structures.
• Implement and extend the underlying Apptio data model to represent demand objects, routing attributes, stage-gates, and governance outputs.
• Develop validation controls and data quality guardrails to improve consistency of intake records and trust in reporting outputs.
• Create modeled and calculated metrics for operational governance insights.
• Design and deliver Apptio reporting artifacts that present modeled demand and governance results to stakeholders.
• Implement integration patterns for inbound/outbound data exchange using Apptio Platform API and/or Datalink connectors.
• Ensure integration connectivity and scheduled loads complete successfully with appropriate monitoring and error handling.
• Execute controlled development practices within TBM Studio and support release readiness.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise platform development/configuration and/or technology process automation (e.g., TBM/Apptio, PPM, ITSM, workflow platforms).
• Demonstrated experience delivering workflow-based enterprise solutions with integrations, reporting, and controlled SDLC practices.
• Working knowledge of data modeling, integrations (API/ETL), and reporting/analytics in enterprise environments.
• Experience operating in Agile delivery with strong documentation, testing discipline, and stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TBM/Apptio.
• Knowledge of Apptio.
