EH&S Coordinator I / II

Commercial, Industrial, and Fabrication Construction Environments

Multiple Locations (Colorado and Wyoming)

Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire

 

Innovar Group is supporting multiple EH&S Coordinator openings across commercial electrical construction, industrial environments, and fabrication shop operations. These roles offer strong exposure to active field environments and opportunities to grow within safety leadership pathways supporting infrastructure and mission-critical project teams.

 

We are hiring at both Coordinator I (entry-level) and Coordinator II (intermediate-level) depending on experience.

 

Locations & Project Types

 

Colorado

  • Aurora — Commercial electrical construction
  • Centennial — Fabrication shop
  • Denver — Commercial construction
  • Golden — Industrial environment
  • Northern Colorado (Fort Collins / Greeley / Loveland) — Commercial construction

Wyoming

  • Cheyenne — Commercial / infrastructure support (part-time option available)

 

Compensation

EH&S Coordinator I

  • Hourly: $25–$34/hr

EH&S Coordinator II

  • Hourly: $35–$44/hr

 

Final level determined based on field experience and project environment exposure.

 

Position Overview

EH&S Coordinators support safety compliance, field engagement, and program execution across active construction and operational job sites. These roles partner closely with site leadership to promote safe work practices and ensure alignment with OSHA standards and company safety programs.

 

Coordinator I roles focus on safety support and program execution.

Coordinator II roles operate more independently and help drive site-level safety performance.

 

Responsibilities

EH&S Coordinator I (Entry-Level Focus)

  • Support daily site safety activities across commercial, industrial, or fabrication environments
  • Assist with toolbox talks, safety orientations, and training coordination
  • Perform safety walkthroughs and document observations
  • Help track incidents, near misses, and corrective actions
  • Maintain safety documentation and compliance records
  • Promote safe work practices across crews and subcontractors
  • Partner with supervisors to reinforce company safety policies

 

EH&S Coordinator II (Intermediate-Level Focus)

Includes all Coordinator I responsibilities, plus:

  • Conduct independent safety audits and site inspections
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective action follow-up
  • Support OSHA compliance initiatives and regulatory reporting
  • Partner with project leadership on hazard mitigation planning
  • Mentor field personnel on safe work practices
  • Track leading and lagging safety indicators
  • Assist with implementation of behavior-based safety initiatives
  • Support multi-site or higher-risk electrical environments when required

 

Preferred Project Backgrounds

We are especially interested in candidates with experience supporting:

  • Commercial electrical construction
  • Industrial facilities
  • Fabrication shop environments
  • Infrastructure projects
  • Multi-site contractor operations

 

Basic Qualifications

Coordinator I

  • 1–3 years of safety experience in construction, industrial, or fabrication environments
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in active field environments

Coordinator II

  • 3–6 years of EH&S field experience
  • OSHA 30 strongly preferred
  • Experience conducting site audits and incident investigations
  • Ability to operate independently across job sites
  • Exposure to electrical construction environments strongly valued

 

Work Environment
